SMV Ministries

Deacon Board

The Deacon Board is formed of men intended to serve as a model to the church through the character of their life as well as through their involvement in ministry. The role of a deacon is not intended to be sought after for personal honor, but rather it is to be viewed as a call to a greater commitment of service. A deacon should be faithful to God and his family, supportive of the Pastor, and an active participant in fulfilling the spiritual, emotional, and financial growth of the church using Godly principles.

Deaconess Ministry

This ministry is designed for women who are spiritual and dedicated women of the God who prepare the Lord's Supper to administer to the church and assist candidates, particularly women, for Baptism. These women possess a love of service to the church and to God's people, and play a crucial role in providing encouragement and support to all.

It is our hope that after much prayer and reflection, that all of our members find a place of service in the body of Christ. We are called to do a wonderful and marvelous work that will glorify God, edify the Church, and encourage the unsaved and unchurched that there is still room in the Kingdom.
